The Seven Stars
A listed early 19th-century pub on Newmarket Road serving Indian food.
Heritage
Open to all
The Seven Stars is at 249 Newmarket Road, east of the city centre. The pub's website calls it one of Cambridge's oldest pubs and says the Grade II listed building was constructed in the early nineteenth century. It was completely renovated in 2019, and it describes itself as both a pub and an Indian restaurant.
The kitchen
The menu is Indian and changes with the seasons. There is a large choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes, and a tandoor, the clay oven used for kebabs, vegetables and breads. The bar offers lagers, wines and champagne. It describes itself as an Indian gastropub.
