The Engineer's House stands on Riverside beside the Cambridge Museum of Technology. The house was built for the chief engineer of the pumping station. In recent years it has become part of the museum, and its website says both museum visitors and the public can enjoy refreshments there.

Drinks and pizza

The beer is supplied by Calverley's Brewery, and the food is Neapolitan-style pizza from Scott's All Day. There is outdoor seating.

Practical notes

  • The website gives opening hours of 16:00 to 22:00 Tuesday to Friday, 12:00 to 22:00 on Saturday and 12:00 to 20:00 on Sunday.
  • The site has a table reservation page, a menu page and a sign-up for news and events.
  • The museum is a separate visit; see its page for its own opening days, since the pub's hours are listed separately on its own website.
