The Anchor sits on Silver Street beside the River Cam. Its terrace looks across the water towards the Mathematical Bridge and Queens' College, which is why the pub calls itself one of Cambridge's most iconic. The pub also has a deck for drinks and lunch between trips on the river.

Food, drink and music history

The kitchen serves seasonal food, and the pub lists classic ales alongside it. Midweek offers include a wing night on Wednesdays.
