Fin Boys is a restaurant and fish butchery at 2 Mill Road, at the start of the shopping street that runs through Petersfield and Mill Road. Its website says it buys fresh fish from independent day boats and champions some of the more unusual, and more sustainable, catches.
Eating there
The restaurant offers a la carte lunch from Wednesday to Saturday and evening meals from Tuesday to Thursday, with a set-menu dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Diners can sit by the pass and talk to the kitchen team about where the fish was caught that day. Once a month, on the first Wednesday, the restaurant hosts a dinner and wine night, often with a wine supplier, and there are other special events through the year.
Beyond the dining room
The fish butchery side lets customers order fresh fish to take home. An online shop offers click and collect, gift vouchers that can be posted and redeemed in the restaurant or on shop items. The restaurant can be hired privately for up to 28 people, and seafood platters can be ordered for collection from 2 Mill Road for home, office or function use.
