Pages Coffee House
A coffee house on Trumpington Street with set laptop-friendly hours.
Laptop-friendly hours run from 8am to 11am; after that, expect to share the space.
Pages Coffee House is on Trumpington Street, the road that runs south from the centre past several colleges and the Fitzwilliam Museum. It is open every day, and its website sets aside the early morning as laptop-friendly hours.
The coffee
The café serves Monmouth Espresso, which it describes as a medium to dark roast. The espresso menu covers the usual range from espresso and americano to flat white, cortado and latte, and all espresso drinks can be made decaf at no extra cost. Filter coffee is brewed by hand as a pour-over, a slower method the café says gives the baristas control over pour speed and extraction time, and there is also a flash brew served over ice. Any drink can be made iced without a surcharge.
Other drinks
Beyond coffee, the menu lists mocha, hot chocolate, matcha latte, chai latte and a beetroot and ginger latte. Seasonal speciality lattes change through the year, with flavours ranging from turmeric to pumpkin spice. Alternative milks and syrups are available on request. The website also has a merchandise page.
