Kimchili
A Korean restaurant on King Street, with pancakes, stews and Seoul-style grilled dishes.
Kimchili is a Korean restaurant at 10-12 King Street, in central Cambridge. Its own pitch is "authentic Seoul, playful soul": a menu of Korean favourites, served with what the website calls good vibes.
What to order
The menu on the website is split into starters and mains, with a separate drinks list. Starters include chicken skewers, corn cheese, fried dumplings, stir-fried glass noodles (japchae) and vegetable fritters, plus savoury pancakes in spring onion, kimchi and mixed seafood versions. Mains include bulgogi (marinated beef), spicy stir-fried pork, braised chicken with glass noodles, soybean paste stew and jjajangmyeon, a noodle dish in black bean sauce. Bibimbap is offered with vegetables, beef or spicy pork. Allergen notes appear on the menu, and some dishes are marked vegetarian, vegan or gluten free.
The home page banner also names cheese deungalbi, dakgalbi and Somack.
Practical notes
Mains on the published menu sit mostly in the mid-teens of pounds, with vegetable dishes a little cheaper. Tables can be booked through the website's reservations page. Wheelchair access is reported; confirm with the restaurant if access matters to you.
